About Program
The program was started in the year of 1986 with the intake of 30 students in each year. The diploma in Architecture is a three years program having six semesters (two each year). The staff in the department is a well qualfied and experienced. Students who earn a diploma in architecture will be proficient in building design and drafting. They can anticipate going into a number of fields within architecture. Possible jobs include a draftsperson, building designer, CAD (computer aided design) technician, and a building information modeler. A number of passout students are working in Govt. sector and Private sector. Some of them are doing private practice in the field of Architecture and also giving job to other passout diploma holders. The department is having training and placement cell and interested students are being placed in different firms/ Architectural offices. MOUs are being signed with industries/firms each year.

I feel proud to be leading a team of intellectuals always striving to strengthen the diploma in architecture year by year. They are the faculty who are skillful and resourceful in various domains to take up challenges and deliver creative qualitative knowledge base.The responsibility as faculty is to adopt an approach that builds up confidence, make them creative, innovative, and strengthen the entrepreneurial skills of students.
Students of today are the future Architects and Planners who need to take up challenges and survive in a competitive and technologically advanced environment.
