About Course

The pharmaceutical profession has shown phenomenal growth .The increase in consumer activism has been making the medical profession torely more on the expertise of the pharmacist. The pharmacy professionals are not only absorbed in research and development of pharmaceuticals, but also inproduction technology, analysis, marketing, and hospitals, which helps the pharmaceutical industry to cope up with the demands of the expanding health careservices. The department offers a diploma course which is approved by Pharmacy Council of and affiliated to Punjab State Board of Technical Education,Chandigarh.

HoD's Message

The profession of pharmacy is highly scientific and technical knowledge based and is strictly regulated by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. The Institute is committed to preparing professional pharmacists in a learner-centered academic and professional environment, with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes, who will serve the health care needs of society for today and for the future. This is accomplished by a team of dedicated faculty and professional staff who are committed to providing the best support possible to students. The institute has well equipped laboratories furnished with machines / equipments as per the requirements of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Besides equipping students in professional competence, institute gives paramount importance to all round development to student's personality by providing those ample opportunities for participation in games and sports, cultural and other societal activities. Emphasis is also given on development of communication and professional skills, inter-personal skills, organizational ability etc.
